Uninstallation Procedure

To uninstall iPublishCentral Reader, perform the following steps.

A. Uninstallation Steps for Windows OS

Procedure

Please follow the Steps 1 to 4, to uninstall iPublishCentral Reader App and to delete the eBooks and the data.

Step 1

1. Click the Start button, select Settings, then select Control Panel.

   In the Control Panel, click Add or Remove Programs.

   A list of currently installed programs is displayed in the Add or Remove Programs.

2. Select iPublishCentral Reader.
3. Click the Remove button.

Step 2

1. On your Windows desktop, double-click on .
2. Click C:, then select Document Settings.
3. Click Username, then select Application Data.
4. Click iOffline.5F008866153F469079C2DBD0738705A515EB800E.1.
5. Press Delete in the keyboard or right-click the mouse, and then click Delete.

The iOffline folder is removed.

Step 3

After performing Step 2 go to

C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Application Data

1. Click Adobe, then click AIR.
2. Click ELS\iOffline. 5F008866153F469079C2DBD0738705A515EB800E.1.
3. Press Delete in the keyboard or right-click the mouse, and then click Delete.

The iOffline folder is removed.

Step 4

1. Click the Start button, then My Documents.
2. Select My Offline Books.
3. Press Delete in the keyboard or right-click the mouse, and then click Delete.

The My Offline Books folder is removed.

This completes the procedure.

B. Uninstallation Steps for MAC OS

Procedure

Please follow the Steps 1 to 4, to uninstall iPublishCentral Reader App and delete the eBooks and data.

Step 1

1. Click the GO menu, then click Applications.

   

2. Select iPublishCentral Reader, then drag and drop it to trash.

   

   The iPublishCentral Reader is deleted from the Applications folder.

Step 2

1. Click the Go menu, then click Computer.

   

2. Select the username from left side of the page.
3. Select Library, then select Application Support.

   

4. Select Adobe, select AIR, then select ELS.
5. The iOffline.5F008866153F469079C2DBD0738705A515EB800E.1 folder appears.

   

6. Press Delete from the keyboard.

Step 3

1. Click the Go menu, then click Computer.
2. Select the username from left side of the page.
3. Select Library, select Preference.
4. Select iOffline. 5F008866153F469079C2DBD0738705A515EB800E.1.

   

5. Press Delete from the keyboard.

Step 4

1. Click the Go menu, then click Computer.
2. Select Document on left side of the page.

   

3. Select My Offline Books.
4. Press Delete from the keyboard.

   The My Offline Books folder is removed. This completes the procedure.

C. Uninstallation Steps for Windows Vista

Please follow the procedure to uninstall iPublishCentral Reader App and delete the eBooks and data.

Procedure

Step 1

• Click the Start button, then click Control Panel
• Select Programs, then select Programs and Features
• Select iPublishCentral Reader, then click the Uninstall button

Step 2

• Click the Start button, then select Documents
• Select My Offline Books and then Press Delete from the keyboard

Step 3

• Click Computer, Select Disk C, then Select User (username)
• In AppData folder, select Roaming
• Select iOffline. 5F008866153F469079C2DBD0738705A515EB800E.1
• Press Delete in the keyboard or right-click the mouse and then click Delete

Step 4

• Click Computer, Select Disk C, then Select User (username)
• In AppData folder, select Roaming, then select Adobe
• Click AIR, select ELS, then select iOffline. 5F008866153F469079C2DBD0738705A515EB800E.1 folder
• Press Delete in the keyboard or right-click the mouse and then click Delete

D. Uninstallation Steps for Windows 7

Procedure

Please follow the Steps 1 to 4, to uninstall iPublishCentral Reader App and delete the eBooks and data.

Step 1

1. Click the Start button.
2. Click Control Panel.
3. Click the Programs link.

   

4. Click the Programs and Features link.
5. Select iPublishCentral Reader from the list.
6. Click the Uninstall button.

Step 2

1. Click the Start button, then click Control Panel.
2. Click the Appearance and Personalization link.

   

3. Click the Apply button, then the OK button.

Step 3

1. Go to C:\Users\{user name}\AppData\Roaming\
2. Select iOffline. 5F008866153F469079C2DBD0738705A515EB800E.1.
3. Delete the iOffline folder.

Step 4

1. Go to C:\Users\{user}\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\AIR\ELS\
2. Select iOffline. 5F008866153F469079C2DBD0738705A515EB800E.1.
3. Delete the iOffline folder.

{user} in the path refers to the User name. AIR application should be version 1.5 and above.

III. iOffline Cleaner

If the reader is unable to uninstall the iPublishCentral Reader App, then iPublishCentral cleaner (uninstaller) is provided on request by the reader.

A. Installation of iOffline Cleaner

Procedure

Step 1

1. Double-click on .
2. Click the Install button.

The installation preference screen appears. The reader can select the option as per the requirement.

• To display iOffline Cleaner on the desktop, select Add shortcut icon to my desktop checkbox
• To start the application after installation, select the Start button
  • Click  to browse and provide the path to store the file while installing
  • Click the Continue button, to install the application

    Else

  • Click Cancel

A screen displaying the installation progress appears. The reader can terminate the installation by clicking Cancel.

The installation is completed. This cleans up the application also.

Whenever the iOffline cleaner has to be used after the first installation, then

• Double Click   or on the desktop

  The data and the eBooks are removed successfully from the desktop.

The iPublishCentral Reader App has to be uninstalled also.

Step 2

Procedure to uninstall iPublishCentral Reader App

1. Click the Start button, Settings, then click Control Panel.

   In the Control Panel, click Add or Remove Programs.

2. Select iPublishCentral Reader.

3. Click the Remove button.

   The iPublishCentral Reader App is successfully removed from the desktop.

   This completes the procedure.
